Frequently Asked Questions
Why are your books prices modest?
Publishers sometimes overprint books and can't sell all of them to standard bookstores. These are also known as remainder books. As they are trying to clear their stock, we receive these copies at a discount, which we then pass on to you.
What are books which displayed shelf wear or remainder markings?
Some of our books, especially the heavily discounted ones may display
shelf wear¹ or remainder markings² but they are otherwise brand new books. The condition, if any, will be specified under each individual product description.
¹ Damage caused by the book rubbing against the shelf, resulting the edges and cover to become worn down or even torn.
² Bottom edges of books marked with a stamp, a black marker, or spray paint which speckles the bottom by the publishers are sold as remainders.
Do you ship worldwide?
Happily! Any orders shipped internationally are subject to taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the order and will be their obligation to pay at time of delivery.
Please note that orders outside of Singapore can typically take about 14 business days for delivery.
Can I return an item?

Please drop us an email at email@example.com within 3 days of receipt with a photo of the book defect.
We retain the right to decline exchanges that do not meet our requirements.
